1. Who are our courses designed for?
Our courses are designed for everyone involved in delivering personal care to people in their own homes, Residential care and social care settings and form part of your mandatory CQC annual training (regulation 18). The training is also useful if your self employed and looking after someone in their own home, brokerage companies and for those who are looking after family members and wish to ensure they supporting your loved owns as best as you possibly can.

2. Who will be delivering the training?
All training will be delivered by our professional trainers. All our training staff have multiple years of experience and hold qualifications to be able to deliver high quality training.

What makes them different is that they have all been carers working in Dom care and Residential care for a number of years before advancing to training.

They fully understand the situations and challenges you face, unlike some companies that deliver online training

3. How will my training be delivered?
Your training will be delivered face to face in small groups at our training facility, with a blend of theory, practical and active participation.

There is provision within the course timetable to discuss independent challenges with certain clients and look at how best practice can be achieved, making these courses purely bespoke to your individual learning.

4. Do I receive a certificate?
Yes – You will receive a certificate on completing your course highlighting the modules you have completed during your course. It is a CQC mandatory requirement that you complete your training annually for Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support and medication management.

5. Are any refreshments included?
Tea and coffee are provided during the course. We will also provide a light buffet style lunch. The refreshments are included in your course fees.

6. Do I need to bring anything with me?
If your are doing a course which involves Moving and Handling, you will need to ensure that you are wearing appropriate clothing for conducting a manual process. You will also need to wear sensible flat footwear.

Whilst we provide you with a number of handouts for the course, you want to take you own notes, so a pen and notepad may be useful for you.

7. How much are your courses?
Our courses are very competitevly priced and are a good cost effective alternative for care providers rather than costs, equipment and facilities needed to deliver in house training. Click on each course for pricing information.

8. Why should I choose CQC Training?
Along with being a cost effective option for care providers, compared to in house training costs, you can ensure you are meeting CQC mandatory requirements (reg 18), you/your care staff and being trained to a high level.
This in turn improves your reputation, your rating, the level of care being delivered whilst being SAFE.

Most importantly, the people you support with their personal care needs receive a better level of support to help them remain independent.

9. Do you offer any discounts?
For returning care professionals who are returning to do their annual training for following years, there are some discounts available. Call to ask prior to booking.

10. How long do I need to book in advance?
We would recommend at least 2 months to book your course. Some dates seem to fill up very quickly. Check our calendar for availability of numbers available for each course.
