About CQC Training

CQC training are always looking to improve the level of support for those who need care support in their own homes, by raising the standards of care.

Courses for Quality Care

If we can improve the level of care, one carer at a time, then we are making progress in helping people live safely and independently in their own homes, living their best lives.

Our training staff are not just trainers. Every trainer has started off as a carer earlier in their carers. They have progressed on towards managers and trainers over the years.

The CQC Difference

We recognise that to deliver training safely, you cannot do this by watching a power point presentation for 45 minutes.

It doesn’t prepare you for the real life situations, equipment and variety of conditions that you will experience to be able to deliver care support safely.
Our courses are designed to be more practical based with real time demonstrations and participation from attendees to use a hands on approach to learning.

For domiciliary care providers, the challenge to conduct mandatory face to face training is that your staff are normally in clients houses providing care support. It is not a cost effective option to employ an external trainer to attend your work place to train one or two members of staff who are not supporting clients that day.

This means you have to attempt to conduct this process multiple times per year to try and train your staff, which is the biggest challenge we hear about.

By enrolling one member of your care team at a time, it reduces the impact on your organisation whilst ensuring their are multiple dates through the year that you can apply for.
